Bio & Background
Meet Brandon Stewart
From my early days in high school, I found my calling in the world of construction and building. Whether it was participating in Building Trades or contributing to the Hurricane Katrina rebuild for a senior project, I’ve been immersed in the blue-collar field throughout my life. The satisfaction of creating and shaping structures became an integral part of who I am.
Over the years, I transitioned from a senior project to becoming a builder, handling everything from prefab homes to various construction projects. It’s a journey that I cherish, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. My goal has always been to become an expert in all things related to homes.
I am currently in the process of becoming a licensed General Contractor, my aim isn’t just to build structures but to deepen my understanding of homes. I envision myself as an authority, not only in the traditional sense of construction but also as an educator for new homebuyers. I see the potential for the home inspection industry to evolve into a teaching role, guiding individuals on how homes function, their maintenance, and the intricacies of homeownership.
Beyond the bricks and mortar, I foresee a future where the impact of home construction extends to health considerations. The materials used, the way homes are built, and overall home hygiene can significantly affect one’s well-being. Hence, I conceived the Home Health Assessment program. This initiative involves testing water quality, assessing radon levels, inspecting the home thoroughly, checking ventilation, and examining crawl spaces. The goal is to ensure that every aspect of a home contributes positively to its occupants’ health.
In my eyes, being a home inspector is more than just facilitating real estate transactions. We are the detectives of real estate, unraveling the mysteries of residential and commercial properties alike. It’s a multifaceted role that I love, and I believe it holds the potential to become even more dynamic as we explore new avenues in the future.
So, that’s why I do what I do. I’m passionate about homes, construction, and the impact they have on our lives. It’s a journey I wholeheartedly embrace, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
